Misión e Historia
I LOVE my job and our team! Having battled breast cancer and faced my own mortality, I am passionate about empowering women to help save lives through our free education/ prevention program and our mammogram/ testing program. I am extremely proud of our free wig program that provides women the comfort and normalcy every woman deserves during a terrifying time in her life. I am honored to be the steward of our community's generosity to truly make a difference in the fight against breast cancer!

I am a breast cancer survivor, was a wig client and am now happy to be able to work at Check for a Lump. Being a fellow survivor, I can be the light for other women (and men) who are going through breast cancer with support and encouragement. The positive mindset I strive for every day, especially when I went through my cancer, will hopefully be what others going through breast cancer need to help them have better days and know that they are not alone. I hope that it also encourages our community of supporters to do the same. I'm excited to work with such a great team and for such an amazing organization!

Having survived breast cancer myself, I absolutely love that I can give back and serve others. I am excited to direct women to the four distinct programs offered through Check for a Lump. Our programs are reaching women at all different phases of life, and we have so many resources available. It’s wonderful to be a part of that.

Check for a Lump is more than just a nonprofit, we are family. I feel incredibly lucky to work for, and along side, such positive, inspiring women who are passionate in helping others. There is no greater gift than the warm feeling inside when helping others, especially those who are underprivileged.

Working at an organization like Check For a Lump where we could help so many people in the community is so inspiring and fulfilling. By being a part of the team not only am I gaining knowledge and mentorship by the amazing women I work alongside of but I also feel like I am part of a family. The resources and support we offer the community is amazing to see. I feel extremely luck to be part of this great organization!
